Prosper Georgetown is delighted to have started working with a new summer student intern. Cody Diez is a rising senior at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, pursuing a degree in Business and Economics. As a summer intern with Prosper Georgetown, he is studying living wage conditions in Georgetown—analyzing local wage data and exploring how adopting a living wage can benefit employers through stronger retention, lower turnover, and a more productive workforce. His work supports Prosper Georgetown’s mission of encouraging local businesses that invest in their employees by paying a wage that allows them to live and thrive.
